Rotational motion in nuclei. [Spectra, moments of inertia, review]

Journal Article · · Rev. Mod. Phys.; (United States)
A review is given of the historical development of the study and interpretation of rotational states in nuclei. The explanation provided by the Bohr-Mottelson model of observed spectra and moments of inertia is emphasized. (AIP)
