Positive ionospheric storm over Irkutsk

The parameters of the plasmasphere during geomagnetic disturbances that caused the positive ionospheric storms of December 3, 1959, and December 27, 1954, over Irkutsk are computed on the basis of a dynamic model of ionosphere--plasmasphere interactions. It is assumed that a disturbance of this type can be caused by an additional ionization source.
