The oil was found to be approximately 20 percent aromatic, 6 percent olefinic, and 72 percent paraffinic (including naphthic) hydrocarbons. The 2 percent polar materials present were 55 percent pyrrole- and 45 percent pyridine-type nitrogen compounds.
