Saturation of parametric turbulence due to a nonlinear frequency shift

Saturation of parametric turbulence due to a nonlinear frequency shift of plasma waves is analyzed for the case of the ion-acoustic instability. A theory is worked out for steady and nonsteady plasma states. The effective turbulent collision frequency is found. (AIP)
