Piped coal by new generation of pneumatic conveyors

The Denseveyor pneumatic conveyor system can transport bulk abrasive materials, such as coal, with grain sizes up to 2 inches, in sealed mild steel pipes over distances of up to 300 ft. The system can be used to handle coal for firing industrial boilers. The low delivery speed results in little degradation of the coal. The system which conveys coal from a ground bunker to storage hoppers, and which has been operating for 10 months, is described.
