Absolute cross section of the reaction /sup 48/Ca(/sup 18/O, /sup 16/O)/sup 50/Ca

It is shown that the long standing difficulty of very small theoretical cross sections for heavy-ion-induced two-nucleon transfer reactions appears to have been solved, at least for the case of the /sup 48/Ca(/sup 18/O, /sup 16/O)/sup 50/Ca reaction. (AIP)
