This paper describes the reflection and transmission of obliquely incident electromagnetic plane waves by an isotropic and uniaxially anisotropic plasma half-space moving perpendicular to the plane of incidence. Results for both the parallel and perpendicular polarizations of the incident wave have been obtained. The mechanism of power transmission into the plasma for each of the cases is examined. The effect of the dispersive nature of the plasma medium is illustrated by presenting numerical results of the power reflection coefficient versus incident wave frequency for various values of the medium velocity.
