Levels of /sup 123/Te and /sup 125/Te and the decay of 13. 3-h /sup 123/I and 2. 7-yr /sup 125/Sb

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev., C; (United States)
The decay of 13.3-h /sup 123/I to levels of /sup 123/Te and the decay of 2.7-yr /sup 125/Sb to levels of /sup 125/Te have been studied. Forty-four ..gamma.. rays were attributed to the decay of /sup 123/I and all but three were placed among 16 levels, 14 of which are also observed in (p, t) reaction studies and 11 in (d, p) reaction studies. Three previously unobserved low-intensity E1 transitions and one new M2 transition were observed in the decay of /sup 125/Sb. The detailed systematics of the odd-mass Te nuclei are compared to current particle-vibration and cluster models. (AIP)
