Preliminary results are presented of an economic analysis of the agricultural and conversion aspects of producing fuel and ammonia from sugar beets, sweet sorghum, and corn. Ethanol would by produced by fermentation of cane juice and methanol and ammonia from the synthesis gas obtained from the partial oxidation of the combustible organics using the Purox Process. (JSR)
