Three-dimensional structure of the plasma wake of the moon

The interaction of a nonstationary plasma flux with a conducting model of the moon is studied by numerical simulation. Calculations are given for a stationary lunar plasma wake and its perturbation on passing through the solar-wind discontinuity.
