Dependence of vertical migration of strontium 90 in soil on the regime of soil moistening

Strontium-90 was introduced into three columns of soil containing moisture contents of 60, 100, and 260% of full water capacity. After 3 months the /sup 90/Sr content of the soil samples was determined and results showed that /sup 90/Sr migration increased with increasing degree of soil moistening. (HLW)
