Class of inhomogeneous perfect fluid cosmologies

We present a new class of inhomogeneous and anisotropic cosmologies with perfect fluid matter content. The subclass of solutions with vanishing pressure are members of the class of inhomogeneous pressure-free cosmologies recently found by Szekeres. In addition, the Robertson--Walker solution with flat space sections and equation of state p = (..gamma..-1)..mu.. is contained as a special case. The relation between our solutions and this Robertson--Walker solution in the limit of large cosmological time is studied in detail.
