The data obtained from the Environmental Monitoring Program of the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory for the calendar year 1976 are described and general trends are discussed. Reference is made to LBL-4678, the 1976 annual report that discusses in detail the modeling used to determine the population dose equivalent due to laboratory operations and describes natural background radiation, geological features, climate and meteorology, and the environmental surveillance program.
