Decay of mass-separated /sup 137/Xe to levels in the N = 82 nucleus /sup 137/Cs

The ..gamma.. rays following the ..beta.. decay of mass-separated /sup 137/Xe to levels in /sup 137/Cs have been studied. Of 94 ..gamma.. rays observed, 83 were placed in a /sup 137/Cs level scheme consisting of 34 excited states up to 3976 keV. The results are compared with levels from single-proton transfer reactions and shell-model calculations.
