Quantum-statistical models for multicomponent plasmas

The Thomas-Fermi-Dirac theory and one that adds Debye-Hueckel interaction between particles are described for mixtures. The differences in the predictions of the two models are evaluated for the mixtures of iron and hydrogen under astrophysical conditions. (AIP)
