Effect of Abrikosov vortices on the elastic properties of niobium in the mixed state

The paper considers the dependence of the effective elasticity of a niobium plate on the orientation of Abrikosov vortices relative to the direction in which the plate is bent. It is shown that if the vortices bend together with the sample relative to the magnetic field during oscillations, the elasticity of the plate in fields H=4 kOe increases by a factor of approximately 5.5. If the vortices in the oscillating sample remain parallel to the direction of the magnetic field, the elasticity in the mixed state remains unchanged.
