The two-nucleon interaction and photodisintegration of the deuteron

The dependence of the basic characteristics of deuteron photodisintegration by unpolarized photons on the form of the nucleon-nucleon potential is studied in the range of energies from 10 to 180 MeV in the laboratory system. Good agreeement is found between the total cross sections for photodisintegration and the experiments under consideration up to an energy of 100 MeV. A dependence on the admixture of D-wave in the deuteron's ground state is observed for the differential cross sections.
