Update of world geothermal energy development

The current status of geothermal development in the following countries is summarized: Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, West Germany, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia, Israel, Jordan, French Somali, and Fiji. Present and projected electrical generating capacities from geothermal resources in these and certain other highly developed countries are tabulated. (JGB)
