Strangeness production in [bar p]Xe annihilation at low energy

The DIANA collaboration studies the production of strange particles in antiproton-xenon annihilation at low energy. Results obtained for inclusive reactions with one neutral strange particle are discussed in the intranuclear-cascade model. Results on strange-pair production in semi-inclusive [bar p]Xe annihilation are also presented. Bounds on the reactions [bar p]Xe[yields]K[sup +]K[sup +]X and [bar p]Xe[yields]K[sup +]K[sup +]HX (H is an S = -2 dibaryon) obtained on 10[sup 5][bar p]Xe annihilations are given. First results on production of [omega] mesons are also discussed. 31 refs., 4 figs., 5 tabs.
