This report gives the results of the work done by Engineering-Science, Inc. in support of the air quality maintenance analysis for North Carolina. This work fell into four stages: (1) update of the 1973 baseline year emission inventory; (2) allocation of the baseline year emission inventory to subcounty and/or air quality display model grid squares; (3) projection of county or subcounty emission inventories to 1975, 1980, and 1985; and (4) allocation of the projected emission inventories to subcounty and/or air quality display model grid squares. Fifteen categories of area source emissions were listed and projected. (GRA)
