Theory of atom-diatom reactive scattering based on the distorted-wave Born approximation

The transition-amplitude matrix element within the distorted-wave Born approximation is expanded in terms of the transferred rotational angular momentum in atom-diatom reactive scattering. A full three-dimensional treatment of the reactive scattering is retained in the derivation of differential and total cross sections.
