Gas turbine HTGR program. Quarterly progress report for the period ending December 31, 1976

The studies reported include refinements to the design and performance of the General Atomic Company 3-loop, 3000 MW(t) dry-cooled plant having a delta arrangement. The recuperator, precooler, and turbomachinery designs were compared with those by the German-Swiss High Temperature Reactor with Helium Turbine (HHT) Project. The comparisons are presented.
