A method is described for measuring the uniformity of the magnetic field of superconducting solenoids with ferromagnetic fields which have found application in quantum paramagnetic amplifiers. The method can be reduced to measure the uniformity of an alternating magnetic field when the solenoid is supplied by alternating current at room temperature. The amplitude and frequency of the alternating field satisfy the conditions for which the uniformity of the alternating field coincides with the uniformity of the constant working field in the superconducting state. The sensitivity of the measurements is 0.01%.
