The choice between the different variants of weak-interaction theory requires increased accuracy of neutrino experiments. For reactor experiments this requirement necessarily involves a good knowledge of the energy spectrum of nu-bar/sub e/ from /sup 235/U fission fragments. In addition, in most apparatus used for this purpose a significant amount of /sup 239/Pu accumulates, and therefore the spectrum of nu-bar/sub e/ can be distorted with passage of time. We present calculations of the stationary energy spectra of antineutrinos and electrons emitted by fission fragments from thermal-neutron fission of /sup 235/U and /sup 239/Pu. It is shown that the spectra of leptons from /sup 239/Pu fission products are significantly softer than the analogous spectra from /sup 235/U. Calculations of the cross sections for processes averaged over the nu-bar/sub e/ spectra for /sup 235/U and /sup 239/Pu indicate the necessity of taking into account this difference in conducting quantitative neutrino experiments.
