Technical Report ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.2172/7280664· OSTI ID:7280664
The types of visual recording equipment available in the Livermore time-sharing system are described to give some insight into what is involved in the processing of output files. A discussion of the hardware for the 501, 512, and 1612 line printers, the Radiation Printer, and the dd80-C display device is given first. Then the output files and how they are handled differently on the 6600 and 7600 computers are considered. Finally, output file formats and procedures for naming output files are examined. (RWR)
