I discuss the ambiguities in distinguishing the standard model from superweak models using {ital CP}-violating neutral-{ital B}-meson decay asymmetries. There is a significant region of parameter space where it will be difficult to make the distinction even with 100 fb{sup {minus}1} of luminosity at the {ital Y}(4{ital S}).
