Dynamical symmetry breakdown in the supersymmetric nonlinear sigma model

The supersymmetric nonlinear sigma model is studied to leading order in 1/N. The spontaneous breakdown of a discrete chiral symmetry leads to mass generation, and the appearance of a supersymmetric pair of bound states.
