Adaptive beamforming detection performance on Korean short-period interfering events. Technical report No. 2

OSTI ID:7276168
Results obtained from applying an adaptive time-domain maximum likelihood multichannel filtering processor to simulated mixed-event data from the Korean short-period array are presented. Comparisons between adaptive processing and beamsteering are based on the amplitude rise of the beam output after the arrival of an on-azimuth signal buried in a stronger off-azimuth interfering event. Four mixed-event simulations with various adaptive-filter operational specifications are performed.
