This part of the survey is being conducted over a million-square-mile area of the Central U.S. The production sampling program project began in Texas during January 1976. Detailed sampling plans were completed for FY 1976 and FY 1976A. Preliminary plans were completed for the remainder of the program. The sampling plan was adjusted to ERDA regional priorities. Production and quality control samples are being analyzed in the URE Clean Room Laboratory and the results recorded in the URE data base. Detailed plans were completed for receiving, handling, and storage of URE samples. A project status and summary of UCC-ND activities during the quarter is presented in this report. Also included is a listing of plans for the fourth quarter of FY 1976.
