Seismic-wave travel-time data obtained from the Apollo program are analyzed. They are interpreted by applying the tau method of inverting the travel-time curve for a spherically symmetric model moon. Upper and lower limits are placed on the P-wave velocity profile to 100-km depth in the Fra Mauro region of Oceanus Procellarum. A sample profile is given, providing a good fit to the observed travel times.
