Predictions for the charged-current-induced two-body {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +} decay rates are given in terms of the corresponding rates for {ital D}{sup 0} using flavor symmetry. We find that, while the decay rates for {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +} into {eta}{pi}{sup +}, {phi}{pi}{sup +}, and {phi}{rho}{sup +} are in more or less agreement with recent measurements, the decay rates into {eta}{prime}{pi}{sup +}, {eta}{rho}{sup +}, and {eta}{prime}{rho}{sup +} are found to be less than the recent data by a factor of 3 or more. We conclude therefore that there may be problems with recent measurements in the {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r arrow}{eta}{prime}{pi}{sup +}, D{sub s}{sup +}{r arrow}{eta}{rho}{sup +}, and {ital D}{sub {ital s}}{sup +}{r arrow}{eta}{prime}{rho}{sup +} decays.
