A listing of national and international manufacturers of solar radiation measuring equipment is presented. Product performance, applications, and economic data for each instrument are included. The different instruments included are pyrheliometers, pyrgeometers, pyranometers and net pyrradiometers. As a supplement to this data, general information common to all instruments is included to provide a reference for the benefit of solar energy researchers and users. The instrument characteristics provided have been primarily supplied by the instrument manufacturers and dealers which were contacted by The University of Alabama in Huntsville. In some cases, available reference material was used to supplement manufacturers' data.
