Digital controller design method for synchronous generator excitation and stabilizer systems; Part II: Hardware/software design and implementation results

Digital Controllers for a synchronous generator excitation and stabilizer were implemented on a laboratory generator using an on line LSI-23 computer. A description of the hardware and software developed for this system is presented in this paper. Implementation test results which show the effectiveness of the controllers and agreement with the simulation results presented in part I of this paper are also presented.
