Neutron studies of liquid and solid helium. Progress report, May 1, 1985-April 30, 1986

Brief descriptions are given for research in: (1) the impulse approximation determination of n(p), the distribution of atoms over the available momentum states in solids and liquids; (2) the calculation of the kinetic energy of atoms in solid /sup 3/He and /sup 4/He using anharmonic lattice dynamic models; and (3) neutron scattering from solid and liquid helium.
