A kinetic study has been made of the oxidation of cyclohexane on NaX zeolite under nonstationary conditions, with simultaneous recording of the IR spectra of the surface compounds, at temperatures of 473-588/sup 0/K with a 0.1-1% concentration of cyclohexane in oxygen. The diffusivity of cyclohexane into the NaX zeolite was measured at 373-453/sup 0/K. A nonstationary kinetic model of cyclohexane oxidation is proposed.
