GAMMA(psi. -->. phi. pi. /sup +/. pi. /sup -/)/GAMMA(psi. -->. omega pi. /sup +/. pi. /sup -/) and the Okubo--Zweig--Iizuka rule

We report the results of a detailed study of mixing effects in the 0/sup + +/ nonet and their influence on a softening of the Okubo--Zweig--Iizuka (OZI) suppression in the ratio GAMMA(psi ..-->.. phi..pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/)/GAMMA(psi ..-->.. ..omega pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/). We conclude that the experimental data for these rates are consistent with the scale of OZI violation as determined from psi' ..-->.. psi..pi../sup +/..pi../sup -/. (AIP)
