We have calculated photoelectron energy spectra for ionization of H(1{ital s}) by subpicosecond pulses with wavelengths 608 and 616 nm and with maximum intensity 1.2{times}10{sup 14} W/cm{sup 2}. The main features of the recently measured spectrum (at 608 mm) are reproduced.
