Resonant and nonresonant contributions to the photoactivation of sup 111 Cd

A {sup 60}Co source has been used to photoactivate the 396 keV isomeric level ({ital T}{sub 1/2}{similar to}48.6 min) of {sup 111}Cd. Our results confirm the existence of nonresonant contributions.
