Nuclear power plant operation becomes complicated because of changes made in both the operations and maintenance procedures. Recording information about these changes so that design and configuration drawings are up to date requires close coordination of configuration managers and design engineers. The author describes Florida Power and Light's (FPL) approach at its Turkey Point installation to handling plant modifications and keeping plant personnel informed.
