[sup 108]I is confirmed as a predominant alpha particle emitter with an energy of 3947[plus minus]5 keV and half-life of 36[plus minus]6 ms. The first observation of alpha decays of [sup 106]Te nuclei produced directly as evaporation residues is reported with a measured energy of 4128[plus minus]9 keV and a half-life of 60[sub [minus]20][sup +40] [mu]s. Alpha decay branching ratios for [sup 112]Xe and [sup 108]Te have been measured from correlations with preceding proton decays as 0.8[sub [minus]0.5][sup +1.1]% and 49[plus minus]4%, respectively. Improved measurements for the [sup 112]Xe alpha decay energy of 3216[plus minus]7 keV and the half-life of [sup 107]Te of 3.1[plus minus]0.1 ms are also reported.
