Applying solar energy for cooling and heating institutional buildings

An up-to-date report is given on the state-of-the-art of solar heating and cooling of buildings and solar water heating in the Rocky Mountain states. Solar installations in conjunction with heat pumps are considered. Three case histories are discussed: Denver Community College, University of Colorado Basketball Arena and Conference Center, and Dept. of Agriculture Building, New Mexico State University.
