We propose modified QCD sum rules for static properties of hadrons (matrix elements of local operators) using the expansion of the corresponding three-point correlation functions in the exclusive kinematic region {ital p}{sup 2}{r arrow}{minus}{infinity}, {ital qp}/{ital p}{sup 2}{similar to}1, and {ital q}{sup 2}=0. As an example we obtain a new sum rule for the magnetic moments of the nucleons. Furthermore, in the framework of the sum rules we find relations between the coupling constants {ital g}{sub {pi}{ital NN}}, {ital g}{sub {rho}{omega}{pi}}, and the value of the leading-twist pion wave function at the middle point (for equal momenta of the quarks), which turns out to be unexpectedly large, {var phi}{sub {pi}}(1/2) =1.2{plus minus}0.3. We propose a model wave function {var phi}{sub {pi}} which satisfies all existing constraints.
