Diffractive production of rho mesons by 147-GeV muons. [Cross sections]

Cross sections for diffractive rho muoproduction in hydrogen are presented for 90 GeV <..nu..<135 GeV (where ..nu.. is the energy lost by the scattered muon) and Q/sup 2/<5 (GeV/c)/sup 2/. The results are compared with lower-energy data and the predictions of simple vector-dominance models.
