CALS (Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistic Support) Test Network information exchange user's manual
The DoD Computer-aided Acquisition and Logistic Support (CALS) Test Network is conducting tests of the military standard for the Automated Interchange of Technical Information (MIL-STD-1840A) and its companion suite of military specifications. The CTN is a DoD-sponsored confederation of voluntary participants from industry and government, managed jointly by a technical staff at Air Force Logistics Command (AFLC) and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). The objective of CTN tests is to demonstrate and evaluate the interchange and functional use of digital data information between industry and government using the CALS standards. The CTN Information Exchange (CTN Info-X) is a combination of information services for participants and sponsors of the work of the CALS Test Network. This manual tells how to access and use the CALS Info-X.
