Burning of various coals continuously and intermittently on a domestic overfeed stoker

The principal results are given of 35 heating trials on various ranks and sizes of coal mined in Washington to determine the relative suitability of coals for use on domestic-type overfeed stoker and particularly the amount of useful heat recoverable with a good furnace and boiler under the intermittent burning conditions required in residential heating plants.
