The Technical Advisory Committee on Research and Development was established to recommend research and development to be performed in support of the nation's electric utility industry for inclusion in the 1974 National Power Survey of the Federal Power Commission. The Committee was supported by Task Forces on Energy Sources Research, Energy Conversion Research, Energy Distribution Research, Energy Environmental Research and on Energy Systems Research. The Task Forces' reports formed the basis for the Technical Advisory Committee's report and are included, in synopses, in this volume. Budget recommendations for funding the proposed R and D programs are included.
