Analysis of pulse shape in a ''fosfich'' detector in an electron spectrometer. [CSI (Tl) crystal surrounded by plastic scintillator]

A ''fosfich'' pickup consisting of a CsI(Tl) crystal surrounded by a plastic scintillator is described. In order to separate the signals from various types of scintillators, an electronic circuit was used in which the polarity of the signal at the output depends on the deexcitation time. The procedure for adjusting the circuit is described, and the efficiency of the ''fosfich'' pickup to charged particles is determined.
