Low-lying levels of /sup 98/Tc

The levels of /sup 98/Tc have been investigated through the /sup 98/Mo(p,n..gamma..)/sup 98/Tc reaction with detection of the ..gamma.. rays. Excitation functions and ..gamma..-..gamma.. coincidence spectra were used in determining the energies of the levels. A pulsed beam was used in obtaining the spectrum of the delayed radiation from the 14.6-..mu..sec isomeric level. Thirty-four ..gamma.. rays have been assigned to twenty-three excited levels of /sup 98/Tc.
