The feasibility was examined of inducing an accelerated test on sealed nickel-cadmium batteries or cells as a tool for spacecraft projects and battery users to determine the prediction of life capability, a method of evaluating the effect of design and component changes in cells, and a means of reducing time and cost of cell testing.
