Significant enrichment of deuterium has been demonstrated in flowing CH/sub 4/-H/sub 2/ mixtures subjected to a low-temperature glow discharge. In the best case, over 500% enrichment per stage was measured. A pronounced translational temperature effect was observed with the optimum enrichment occurring at T/sub wall/=-105 /sup 0/C.
